Why won't my Vista computer connect to the Windows XP one? I'm trying to get my Vista laptop to connect to my XP Desktop for file and printer sharing. When on the Vista computer and in the network screen, I double click on the desktop computer, and it says "Windows Cannot Access \desktopname" This is error code 0X80070035. I removed anti-virus software from both computers. The network name is the same on both computers. Interestingly, an XP laptop connects to the XP Desktop just fine. Both computers have all the latest Windows Updates.
