When she  gets there she drops her lip and crys. Re: Daycare
I would ask your daughter why she dislikes day care, there may be an underlying reason. Daycare is preaty structured and she may not like that.  They also feed the same foods to everyone and nap at the same time and have bathroom breaks usually at a given time.  So she may not like something about the structure. Also, she could be getting picked on, and she is keeping this inside. If I had a chance I would go with her and observe some of the day with her make it special.  Make sure she knows that she is showing you what she does like take your kid to work day. I would really talk to her and get her to open up though, that is the first most important info.

Re: Daycare
Thanks for taking the time to answer, I asked her why she dosen't like going she told me it was scary!!! Also I had a thought when she started going she had stopped having a dummy at sleep time. She kept telling me she didn't want to go to sleep at daycare maybe this was a bit of the problem. Her big sister is doing kinder at the same place so im hoping this will make her want to go. Thanks again  Mez

Re: Daycare
I was always told my boys stopped crying as soon as I walked out the door and I saw this was the case with others when their mum or dad dropped them off. It is hard from both sides but they do forget pretty quickly and start to play with the toys or other children. You want to try and see if your child can tell you why they don't want to go justin case there is an issue that can be rectified to make it easier or even something to look forward to. Don't be distressed when you drop her off as she can pick up on that tyhinking you don't want her there either.good luck :-)

Re: Daycare
Most kids will go through a period of separation anxiety when it comes to day care.  The tears usually only last for a few minutes before the child is distracted and can carry on the day without you. Have a search through some of the advice articles already written about day care/childcare and separation anxiety. Also ask the day care staff how best to manage this- as they see this every day and tend to know what methods work  the best.
