Amino acid chelated magnesium is the easiest and most assimilable form for the body to use....... supplements of magnesium shouldn't be taken after meals, since the ineral does neutralise stomah acidity............. you can get a chelated magnesium supplement in a powdered form from your local Health Food Store for around $40.00AUD per bottle ...... i think Sandra Cabot endorses one and it has her name on the bottle (author of The Healthy Liver & Bowel Book) ...... well worth the money if you can afford it.
food rich in magnesium are leafy and green vegies, organic nuts and seeds (organic to avoid the nasty sulfites and chemicals they use to "preserve" the commercial varieties which may upset sensitive bodies), wholegrain breads and cereals (if you can tolerate wheat) and fresh cold water fishes such as tuna, sardines, salmon and whiting and bananas.

The wost one is magnesium oxide as it is inorganic. Magnesium carbonate is another bad one as it is also inorganic.
The organic forms are absorbed much better than the inorganic forms so the taurate, citrate and aspartate are all very good. Magnesium orotate is another good organic magnesium.
Probably the best of the good organic magnesiums is the magnesium amino acid chelates form.Answer 3
Citrate is a fully absorbable type of Magnesium and that is why it's more expensive compared to the other kinds...Answer 4
