< Aryan is a linguistic, not a racial designation, referring to the prehistoric speakers of Indo-European languages, particularly Indo-Iranian, or to modern speakers of Indic or Persian (the name Iran means aryan). Only the Nazis and their ignorant imitators ever use Aryan to mean "White People." If you meant to ask about the origins of Caucasians, or more properly Caucasoids, their ancestry has been traced to Eastern Europe, Western Asia (including the Indian subcontinent) and North Africa - hence the name, which refers to the Caucasus, an area in the former Soviet Union that lies between the Caspian and the Black Seas.
