99.999% of rebates back. Don't know why you have problems.
Rebates are only a "scam" if you fail to: mail them in; follow instructions; and, don't follow up. We keep copies of everthing - AND highlight the phone #s/web sites to use to follow up.
Sometimes rebates don't arrive; we follow up and may have to fax them what we've copied - always works.
Also, use Certified or Certified/Return Receipt Requested to verify date-of-delivery. Dated proof of delivery helps disabuse them of "We didn't get it by the deadline" argument.
Rebates aren't scams. But Cos rely on YOU failing, which apparently you have. And "copy" means "copy."
