Does anyone have a Miforma memory foam mattress? What do you think of it? I've only been able to find one review online. We are looking at the 12" Relieve mattress.

I know this is late in the game answering this but, I just switched from a Simmons Black Edition mattress that was 3 years old and already had some severe depressions in the pillow top. I swapped it out with the Miforma Relieve from Back to Bed. After never having a memory foam bed before this was quite a change. Its took a good week before I was used to it.

The good:

It's more of a green product than the competition in terms of materials and the way they ship it.

It holds its shape, and is comfortable for side sleeping but really good for back sleeping, compared to the Simmons.

It's light weight and easy to move unlike the monster bed I had before with 100lbs of springs.

I like that it is easy to move or lift changing sheets etc.

Long warranty pretty much guaranetees you wont be sinking into the mattress like a spring bed after a few years.

It's expensive but cheaper than the Temur-Pedic, and again it used plant based oils instead of petroleum based. Which was important to me.

The bad:

Cost, its expensive still.

They claim its not as hot as the tempurpedic to sleep on, which I cant verify, but its as hot as my old Simmons Black, which is bad and good. i think it is hot to sleep on, but that's subjective.

Overall I recommend it. Its a newer company in the consumer market so who knows if they will be able to keep up with the competition. If there is a problem with it hopefully they will be around to warranty it, that would be my only major concern.

I have owned a miforma mattress for 3 weeks now. It took a bit of getting use to. The first two days my back hurt but after that no more back pain. HOWEVER, I have noticed that the left side of the mattress seems softer than the right side and the firmest part of the mattress is in the middle. Is this a defect?

Also, the past two weeks I have developed a very sore left arm and I can't figure out if it's from the mattress or not. Any suggestions?

After 12 months on the Miforma mattress, my husband moved to the twin in the spare room..... there is now a permanent depression in the Miforma mattress where each of us slept and I am now sleeping in the middle on the "hump"...

I can't say if the 12" is any better than the 10" we have, but we were told we'd love it after 20 years... and we HATE it after only 12 MONTHS...

I have had mine for just over a year now and still pretty happy Im a big guy six foot three three hundred and fifteen pounds I sleep by myself for the most part so I sleep more in one spot and it still feels the same as day one I did have to get used to it but I never had this type of set before I love the bamboo cover and the fact that it is "plant based" foam I tried theTempurs out but still liked how it felt over the Tempurs I would have bought a Sealy Embody set insted but those I could not deal with the guy on, and by the way my sales guy was awsome! very neat and helpful, but he told me that the Embody sets are "price protected" like Bose speakers and like the PS3 or the Xbox no matter where you go its the same price the best thing he told me was take your time trying these sets out you have to sleep in it not me and he is right

My husband and I bought our Miforma mattress set in July of 2009. My husband liked it immediately but I wasn't sold on it right away. It took me about a week to adjust to the change from our previous innerspring mattress, but I changed my mind completely. I love our mattress~it feels just the same as it did the first day we slept in it. It is smooth and even on top. It isn't hot and conforms to the body quickly. I can't even tell when my husband gets out of the bed! We both preferred it over the Tempur-Pedics we tried out. My only complaint, which isn't a fault of the mattress, is that it is very hard to find sheets that fit properly. Most sheets are made with "deep pockets" and that means 18-22 inch thick mattresses, not the 11" mattress that we own. But those sheets are out there, it's just a matter of finding them. But that would never stop me from recommending this mattress. I can't wait to get into bed at night!

I just bought one of these a week ago. My back is killing me, my side hurts (I sleep on my side)  and when I wake up, my neck cracks a lot. Not sure whether this is the mattress or not. Will give it a bit more time, but so far I'm not thrilled.

I'll come back in a week or two and post about how I feel about sleeping on it... ours was just delivered so tonight is night 1. To answer the last question asked, we bought the relieve model (priced at $2499 retail) and we paid $1300... We did go to 3 different stores and I really enjoy negotiating. Good luck.

got the 9" Relax model.  I'm a normal-sized person.  Loved it at first, but after 3 months there was an sag/indentation where my butt is when I sleep.  Woke up sore.  Store was good about taking the return, but I'm going to a temperpedic.  Expensive, but at least I know what I'm getting.
