Have you ever heard of any toaster complaints? I was just choosing a toaster the other day. And ended up choosing a 22 dollar Toastmaster. However, for the longest time, I was looking over the cheapest one, the Sunbeam at $6.45. It's small and simple. I've never heard of anyone complain about toasters, so why didn't I get that one. I had to choose the one that look like stainless steel...

The really cheap ones do a crappy job.

The bf's old toaster would burn the upper half of the toast while leaving the lower half raw.

I hated my Sunbeam. There! Now you've heard.

Seriously, I hated my sunbeam. The settings were not consistent and I couldn't get it to toast right, and after 2 years it started sticking (the toast wouldn't pop up).

I replaced it with a badass toaster oven that can also bake and broil. I looovvveee my toaster oven!

yup, got a bad one at walmart...

think it was a sunbeam, but not sure.

the problem was the timer dial... it only toasted too light (2 cycles necessary) or would burn.

can't think of a shittier way to start the morning than battling a simple appliance that can't do a simple job. i kicked it to the curb. literally. have a delonghi now and it's fine.

My cheap one has a setting for "Pop Tart"

Seriously, on the dial there is the Pop Tart logo. It was $7 or so at Target. It takes 3 or 4 tries to get the bread to stay down and I usually find myself wanting to throw it out the window.

I just bought a great one at Target for $39.99

It does everything, grill, toast, bake, rotisserie and it's a convection oven as well. Some funky name like EuroPro and it's stainless.

I love my Sunbeam from walmart :)

seriously....I have had it for over 3 years use it about 3X a week and it does its job. I wasnt expecting a lot but it has been great...now for the shitty sunbeam electric can opener I bought that was a waist of 6 dollars. Just to be on the safe side I would go for the $22 one just to save yourself possible frustration and maybe a few windows.

I bought a cheap toaster and here's my complaint

After a while, the toast stopped popping up automatically. The first time it happened it was almost on fire before I realized what was happening. I don't eat toast often enough to warrant another one, but if you like toast, I'd suggest buying a decent one. Mine is a Procter Silex I bought from Costco a few years ago for about $15.
