Anyone ever run into square mini cupcake liners? I have located a pan that has square cupcake holes that are 2.6" square, but so far have been unable to find liners for them. I think they exist, because the square cupcakes are sold by bakeries in California, most notably a place called Martino's. Unless they make them with round papers, that is.

All of the square ones

I've seen do not have papers. Just oil the pan.

Wilton makes silicone square liners

the cheapest I have seen them is $9.99 per dozen, but you can reuse them.

This place has some, but they're 2X2

They've got some really cute liners. Didn't know there was such a variety.

And this place on etsy has some really nice ones.

the places I've been use the round ones

By the way, a 2 x 2 cupcake is "standard" not mini. Anyway, my fave treat place uses the round ones in a square cupcake pan, they turn out square and lovely!

Thank you all for your great help. I think I

have solved my problem, and will buy the square pan and use regular paper liners, based on posts here and elsewhere that say that they are what are normally used. I expect to have my first batch of tea cakes made next week, thanks to your input!
