Can SO please help import file to Access? I'm using MS Access 2003 I have a plain text comma delimited file I want to import to a new table. In the table view I click New and select "Import Table" I then brouse for and open the file Select delimited and go to the next screen select comma and go to the next screen Select "in a new table" and go to the next screen This is were I have my problem. IN the screen I hve 2 panels the upper panel show the field options, name and datatype etc., the bottom panel shows the data in colums. ON entering the screen Field1 is selected and I can rename it and select a datatype But then when I select Field2 in the lower panel the field options still show the options for the first field with the new name and data type. How do I change the name and datatype for the other fields? Thanks
